My wife and I recently went on a trip to India and decided that my power bank was not going to be sufficient. After some reading some reviews I decided to go with this battery pack. Not only does it have 2 USB ports, it comes with solar charging capability and a flashlight. I fully charged the battery pack before we left and after 5 days of using the battery pack to charge both of our Samsung S10's, I found myself needing to use the solar panels and to my delight they actually work! I left the panels open for about 5 hours in the sun and at night time, I was able to charge our phones! Very durable, I must have dropped it 3 or 4 times. STILL WORKED!
I bought this a few months ago because Edison kept turning our power off for fire prevention. It works great! I was able to charge my phone several times before needing to put it back in the sun. I forgot it outside for a couple days & it was fine. So it seems pretty durable and I like that it folds up so it’s smaller and easier to carry around. It charged rather quickly. Also, I liked that I could plug my phone directly into it & there are 2 usb slots so I can charge multiple things.
I tried a few solar chargers. This one really works. It takes about 8 hours to charge from 1 bar to 4 bars. I would recommend getting at least 2 if you are camping out a few days.
Once I determined it could a full charge from the sun I then tested it to see if it could charge my phone. On a full charge I was able to charge my phone 4 times. I had 1 bar left over.
Now I just charge it directly from an outlet but it is nice to know I can depend on the solar charger if I lose power or want to go camping and have a reliable power source.
i drive a school bus and the charging port doesnt work. brand new bus too. anyway, i listen to the music from my phone and bluetooth it to a personal bluetooth speaker. i also have an ipad that i use when i am sitting idle for long periods of time. im always running low on battery life, so i bought this product to help out. WOW. it works great. best money spent.
Love this charger. I bought it for a camping trip we did last week and was mind blown by how fast it recharges itself under the sun when you open it up. And it was able to keep charging everyone's phone for the entire time. I don't even know how many full phone charges it would have because we left it open under the sun and the thing never went completely down when we kept using it overnight.
